When AI answers first, clicks drop.
Being in search is no longer enough. Customers see your name only when AI answers cite your site. AEO (answer engine optimization) fixes your site and content for that.
8%of Google searches with an AI summary led to a result click
Without a summary it was 15%. Even when your site shows up in the results, the link is rarely clicked. Where customers see your name now is inside the AI answer.

About 20%of Naver searches where AI Briefing answers first
That is about one search in five, and Naver, Korea’s main search portal, says it will double the share by the end of 2026. On Naver too, customers see the answer before the links.

How is AEO different from SEO?
If SEO is about showing up in search results, AEO is about your name coming up when AI answers. The monthly audit covers both: on the search side, indexing, speed and Naver search results; on the AI side, citations by question and whether first paragraphs answer the question right away.
What counts as being cited?
The AI answer lists your site as a source and builds on its content. The one number we count each month is this citation rate. An answer that mentions your name without a source is not counted, and this audit does not count site visits or inquiries.
